NEIGHBORHOOD

At the end of Route 12, where the ocean and dunes prevail, the Villages at Ocean Hill claim the beautiful, sun-kissed beaches of the northern Outer Banks. A community between the serene coast of Currituck Sound and the majesty of the Atlantic Ocean, the Villages at Ocean Hill offers family fun, sport, recreation, and sheer relaxation opportunities.

Cyclists of all ages and abilities can enjoy the nearly 2-mile stretch of the newly paved bike lane, which connects VOH to the shops and community of Corolla Light. Nature lovers will love the serenity of the Currituck Banks National Estuarine Reserve, adjacent to the community, for walking and enjoying the sights and sounds of the maritime forest.

Historic Corolla Village also hosts the Wild Horse Museum, offering memorabilia and souvenirs. All proceeds from the sale of merchandise go directly to protect, preserve, and care for the wild horses.

Just a few minutes north is the entrance to the 4×4 Beach, where you can take a scenic drive on the sand and possibly catch a glimpse of the wild horses grazing on the beach.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU BOOK

★ BOOKING GUIDELINES ★
We ask that you treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits. We do not accept reservations from individuals under 25 and strictly prohibit third-party bookings for our guests and neighbors’ safety and tranquility. The person making the reservation must be the one staying at the property.

★ RENTAL AGREEMENT ★
Your booking is NOT fully confirmed until these requirements have been fulfilled. Once the reservation is confirmed and before check-in, guests must sign a Rental Agreement outlining the terms of the stay. Please be advised that all guests over 18 will be asked to sign a Rental Agreement that governs the terms of the stay per the North Carolina Vacation Rental Act. No bookings will be finalized without finishing this process.

★ ADDITIONAL SCREENING ★
Our company uses a third-party screening service called Safely. You may receive an email from Safely asking you for additional information to verify your identity, such as your home address and date of birth. Please visit the Safely website if you would like further information.

★ TRUST & SAFETY FEE ★
Our company applies a single, nonrefundable fee of $100 for a Safely Protection Policy. We do not collect a security deposit. A Safely Protection Policy (short-term rental insurance) ensures that the guest, the home, and its contents are protected during the stay.

★ CLEANING & SANITIZATION ★
Our guests’ health, safety, and well-being are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out.

★ POOLS & HOT TUBS ★
If this home has a pool or hot tub, please check the listing or ask the Host for the operational schedule. Most pools are seasonal, from May 15 to Oct 15 each year.

★ NOT A PET-FRIENDLY HOME ★
We love those little (and not so little) furry bundles of joy. Sadly, our home is not suitable for accommodating them. Should you bring pets without obtaining prior permission from the host, there will be a $400 infraction fee, and your stay will be subject to cancellation with no refund and an expedited eviction.

★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside of the home. If you smoke outside the house, please clean up after.

★ SECURITY CAMERAS ★
All of our homes have exterior security cameras for the safety and security of our guests. Exterior cameras are pointed at areas of ingress and egress from the house; no cameras are on the interior.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Travelers who cancel more than 60 days before the scheduled check-in date will receive a full refund, minus any applicable credit card or processing fees. For cancellations between 30 and 60 days before check-in, a 50% refund will be issued, minus any credit card or processing fees. Unfortunately, no refunds for cancellations made within 30 days of the check-in date will be provided.
