NEIGHBORHOOD

Tranquility is located in Historic Corolla Village and is a short walk to restored shops like Kind Cup Coffee and the Island Bookstore, the historic Whalehead mansion, and a guest favorite—the Currituck Beach Lighthouse. When you’re ready to dip your toes in the sand, Tranquility is just a quick one-minute walk to the beach access. Historic Corolla Village also hosts the Wild Horse Museum, which offers memorabilia and souvenirs. All proceeds from the sale of merchandise go directly to protecting, preserving, and caring for wild horses. Just a few minutes north is the entrance to the 4×4 Beach, where you can take a scenic drive on the sand and catch a glimpse of the wild horses grazing on the beach.

We do not accept reservations from individuals under 25 and strictly prohibit third-party bookings. The person making the reservation must be the one staying at the property.

★ RENTAL AGREEMENT ★
Per the North Carolina Vacation Rental Act, all guests over 18 must sign a Rental Agreement governing the terms of the stay.

★ TRUST & SAFETY FEE ★
We do not collect a security deposit. Instead, our company uses a third-party service for short-term rental insurance to ensure that the guest, the home, and its contents are protected during the stay. Please visit the Safely website for more information.

★ CLEANING & SANITIZATION ★
Our guests’ health, safety, and well-being are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out.

If this home has a pool or hot tub, please check the listing or ask the Host for the operational schedule. Most pools are seasonal, from May 15 to Oct 15 each year.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Travelers who cancel more than 60 days before the scheduled check-in date will receive a full refund, minus any applicable credit card or processing fees. For cancellations between 30 and 60 days before check-in, a 50% refund will be issued, minus any credit card or processing fees. Unfortunately, no refunds for cancellations made within 30 days of the check-in date will be provided.
