NEIGHBORHOOD

TheYellow Lotus is located just a few miles from the entrance of the 4×4 Beach, where you can take a scenic drive on the sand and possibly catch a glimpse of the wild horses grazing on the beach. Walk to the Whalehead Brewery, Food Lion, or Timbuck 2 shopping center. Here are some attractions we recommend visiting during your stay.

• 4X4 Beach (Air down tires and drive your 4WD or book a wild horse tour)
• Historic Corolla Village (Try Kind Cup Coffee or the Island Bookstore, climb the Currituck Lighthouse)
• Corolla Adventure Park
• Currituck Banks Maritime Forest Trail Head (This is an excellent nature walk, and you may see a wild horse!)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU BOOK

★ BOOKING GUIDELINES ★
We ask that you treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits. We do not accept reservations from individuals under 25 and strictly prohibit third-party bookings for our guests and neighbors’ safety and tranquility. The person making the reservation must be the one staying at the property.

★ RENTAL AGREEMENT ★
Your booking is NOT fully confirmed until these requirements have been fulfilled. Once the reservation is confirmed and before check-in, guests must sign a Rental Agreement outlining the terms of the stay. Please be advised that all guests over 18 will be asked to sign a Rental Agreement that governs the terms of the stay per the North Carolina Vacation Rental Act. No bookings will be finalized without finishing this process.

★ ADDITIONAL SCREENING ★
Our company uses a third-party screening service called Safely. You may receive an email from Safely asking you for additional information to verify your identity, such as your home address and date of birth. Please visit the Safely website if you would like further information.

★ TRUST & SAFETY FEE ★
Our company applies a single, nonrefundable fee of $100 for a Safely Protection Policy. We do not collect a security deposit. A Safely Protection Policy (short-term rental insurance) ensures that the guest, the home, and its contents are protected during the stay.

★ CLEANING & SANITIZATION ★
Our guests’ health, safety, and well-being are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out.

★ POOLS & HOT TUBS ★
If this home has a pool or hot tub, please check the listing or ask the Host for the operational schedule. Most pools are seasonal, from May 15 to Oct 15 each year.

★ NOT A PET-FRIENDLY HOME ★
We love those little (and not so little) furry bundles of joy. Sadly, our home is not suitable for accommodating them. Should you bring pets without obtaining prior permission from the host, there will be a $400 infraction fee, and your stay will be subject to cancellation with no refund and an expedited eviction.

★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside of the home. If you smoke outside the house, please clean up after.

★ SECURITY CAMERAS ★
All of our homes have exterior security cameras for the safety and security of our guests. Exterior cameras are pointed at areas of ingress and egress from the house; no cameras are on the interior.

The home was spacious for my family; the beds were incredibly comfortable, the pool and hot tub were great, there was lots of space for our dog, and it was an easy walk to the beach! I could not speak more highly of this home and our host.

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ January 2023 | I can’t say enough good things about our stay. This was a last-minute booking due to a canceled flight for our Christmas vacation. We picked this place, booked our stay, and headed to NC with our three kids within a couple of hours. We stayed for six days, and it was perfect in every way. The house was beautiful and so nicely decorated. Due to this being the off-season, barely anything around was open, but we had no problem with that. We spent almost the entire time in the house or on the sand near the water. The Host and Owner even helped out when I got my whole family out of the house, only to find that I’d left my phone with the door code in the house. I messaged them through the app on my husband’s phone, and they sent the code within minutes. Overall, we had a fantastic week and will be back! I highly recommend this beautiful house!

Travelers who cancel at least 60 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they’ve paid minus any credit card or processing fees. If they cancel between 30 and 60 days before check-in, you will get back 50% minus any credit card or processing fees. Otherwise, there will not be a refund.
